At the end of last year, an electro-hydraulic telescopic beam capable of handling bundles of profiles up to 24 metres in length was installed and put into operation at a major steelworks in Badajoz (Spain).
The beam is equipped with two special FTPM-type moving pole electromagnets from our brand, supplied to the customer beforehand.
Likewise, we utilise our existing electrical power supply and control equipment, which undergoes minor modifications to control the new beam.
The entire installation handles three simultaneous bundles with a maximum width of 500 mm and a weight of 6 tonnes each, with a maximum length of 24 metres.
