Rectangular electromagnets for scrap metal

FELEMAMG FR-E Series electromagnets are specially designed for general work on bulk material. The special design of their magnetic circuit produces a powerful magnetic field with great volume and depth, capable of both lifting large amounts of scrap metal and heavy pieces. They are widely used in loading furnace baskets, handling scrap yards, etc.

Compared to classic circular electromagnets, rectangular electromagnets stand out for their great advantage of being manufactured according to customer requirements in terms of length x width, “tailor-made” to suit any type of work on any type of container, thus improving the performance of the installation.

Their revolutionary design, unlike any traditional model, gives the E Series electromagnets almost three times the load volume, making them the most effective high-capacity electromagnets for low-density scrap metal. This is because in traditional electromagnets, light scrap metal is attracted to the central pole, taking on an “inverted cone” shape.
