Electromagnets for handling bundles of rods

These are large-section, deep-field electromagnets, specially designed to exert their attractive force over a large part of the thickness of the bundle, so that the weight of the rods is not supported entirely by the ties, thereby reducing the tension on the bundle.

The length of the magnetic circuit is adjusted to the width of the bundle or set of bundles. In addition, the entire length of this circuit has the same magnetic power.

The coil protrudes from the circuit on both sides to prevent the ends of the magnetic circuit from weakening. This ensures complete safety at work. These electromagnets are robustly and carefully constructed and are capable of withstanding the most demanding production requirements.

Depending on the length of the bundles, it will be necessary to place two or more electromagnets on a beam to prevent or reduce bending. These beams can be manufactured as fixed or telescopic, depending on the load to be handled.

The supply is completed with electrical power, control, and protection equipment, which powers the electromagnets at constant intensity.
