Electromagnets for billet handling
These are electromagnets specially designed for handling long, heavy products at high temperatures (maximum 600°C), such as billets, blooms, large-section slabs, etc.
Their special design allows them to ensure the same force index at both ends of the electromagnet and in the center, guaranteeing the safe transport of the last pieces of the layer of products to be handled.
These electromagnets are robustly and carefully constructed and are capable of withstanding the most demanding production requirements.
The logical installation will always consist of two electromagnets mounted on a beam. Depending on the length of the product, a fixed or telescopic beam will need to be supplied to ensure correct handling of the material.
General characteristics
- Lead or nickel-cadmium emergency batteries with the capacity to maintain the load for an average of 20 minutes.
- RST transportation safety system.
