This past summer, four electromagnetic lifting installations were installed and subsequently commissioned in Barcelona. They were designed for handling beam blanks.
Each of these installations consists of a fixed beam (not included in our supply) with two special FBH bipolar electromagnets.
It is completed with state-of-the-art electrical power supply and control equipment, with a Ni-Cd emergency battery system and constant current power supply to the electromagnets, which allows us to maintain the same level of force throughout all working hours.
In addition, it incorporates a continuous control system for all installation variables, allowing us to monitor surge levels, overcurrent, magnet temperature, etc. at all times, thereby guaranteeing the condition and availability of the entire installation at all times.
