Rotary magnetic drums

It consists of a magnetic circuit or bank of permanent magnets forming a sector of 160-170º (depending on the type) with a small polar field expansion decreasing for the evacuation of ferromagnetic parts.

This magnet bank is fixed and adjustable by means of the shaft output opposite the drive, and around it rotates the stainless steel casing driven by the keyed shaft where the corresponding drive, hollow shaft gear motor, pulley, pinion, etc. will be placed.

The magnetic material found among the transported material is attracted by the magnetic system, remaining on the drum casing and being dragged along as it rotates until it leaves the magnetic field and detaches, undergoing sufficient deviation to be caught by the dividing partition in place. The non-magnetic material continues in the same direction without undergoing any deviation.

Depending on the application, several magnetic circuits of different power ratings are available and can be manufactured with permanent or electromagnetic magnets.
