Wet magnetic separators

This magnetic separator consists of a rotating magnetic drum that rotates inside a tank designed to channel the feed liquid around the magnet bank, which remains stationary inside the rotating enclosure.

A gear motor, coupled directly to the separator shaft or by means of a chain and sprocket and gear wheel, rotates the drum casing.

The feed liquid can circulate in the tank in the opposite direction to the drum (counter-current flow) or in the same direction (parallel flow), achieving different results in terms of performance and product purity.
