Magnetic separators on conveyor belts

They extract and recover ferrous parts found among the material circulating on a conveyor belt.

Separators can be manually cleaned or automatically cleaned. In the latter case, the separator has a ribbed cleaning belt that drags the pieces trapped by the separator and removes them from the conveyor.

Magnetic separators on conveyor belts can also be divided into electromagnetic separators, where a powerful coil is powered by direct current through an electrical cabinet, or permanent magnet separators, where the magnetic force is created through a magnetic circuit of permanent magnets.

This coil (electromagnet) or permanent magnet forms the main structure of the separator and can be supplied on its own (manual cleaning) or with other elements, such as a drive unit, drums, etc. (automatic cleaning).
