Electromagnets for handling tubular beams
Electromagnets for handling pipes are large-section electromagnets with a deep field, specially designed to exert their attractive force over a large part of the thickness of the pipe bundle, so that the weight of the pipes is not supported entirely by the straps, thereby reducing the tension on the strapping.
The length of the magnetic circuit is adjusted to the width of the strip or bundle. In addition, the entire length of the circuit has the same magnetic power. The coil protrudes from the circuit on both sides to prevent the ends of the magnetic circuit from weakening. This ensures complete safety at work. These electromagnets are robustly and carefully constructed and are capable of withstanding the most demanding production requirements.
Depending on the length of the pipe bundles, two or more electromagnets will need to be placed on a beam to prevent or reduce bending. These beams can be manufactured as fixed, telescopic, or with safety arms that surround the load without affecting the performance of the installation.
General characteristics
- Lead or nickel-cadmium emergency batteries with the capacity to maintain the load for an average of 20 minutes.
- RST transport safety system, with pre-tensioning at 65% of the force.
- Light and sound signaling systems.
- Automatic opening and closing in the case of telescopic beams, electrohydraulic.
- Selection system for electromagnets to be energized.
- Magnetic field regulation system.
- Complete alarm system that allows you to check the status of the electromagnets and battery at all times.
