Earlier this year, several facilities for handling thick steel sheets intended for the manufacture of wind generators have been installed and commissioned for a major industrial group located in Asturias.
The facilities are composed of 4 electromagnets and have been supplied on two fixed beams and one electro-hydraulic telescopic beam. All electromagnets have identical dimensions, 300 x 1400 mm, and are specially designed for this work.
The facilities are completed with an electrical power and control equipment for the telescopic beam; the client already had electrical equipment for powering the magnets.
